Three New England writers win literary awards

Three New England authors have been recently been awarded literary prizes: Maine native Paul J. Fournier’s “Tales from Misery Ridge: One Man’s Adventures in the Great Outdoors” was named the best book of 2011 by the New England Outdoor Writers Association. Harvard Divinity School professor Mark D. Jordan’s “Recruiting Young Love: How Christians Talk About Homosexuality” won the 2011 nonfiction award from the Publishing Triangle. And Somerville’s Andrew Krivak won the first Chautauqua Prize for his debut novel “The Sojourn.”
