‘Bond on Bond: Reflections on 50 Years of James Bond Movies’

The cars, the cocktails, the girls, the gadgets, and, oh, the villains. Roger Moore’s “Bond on Bond: Reflections on 50 Years of James Bond Movies” (Lyons) is a gossipy scrapbook of the British secret agent’s adventures on and off the big screen. Moore (pictured), who starred in seven Bond movies, is as debonair on the page as he is on screen, and the 400 photographs make for a first-rate bit of time travel. As for which actor played the best Bond, Moore writes that, apart from himself, it has to be Sean Connery, who starred in six of the first seven Bond movies.
