Officials cite reports of bats in homes

Local health officials have received several calls from residents in Lincoln and Concord who have found bats in their homes. Two bats were sent for testing and were negative for rabies. Health officials urge residents to call if a bat has been in contact with humans or pets. If not, the bat can be released outdoors, officials said.
