COMEDY

DIRTY GIRL (2011)

Rookie filmmaker Abe Sylvia’s trifle bypassed local theaters, but delivers some laughs with the story of an attitudinal ’80s high school tramp (Juno Temple, “Atonement’’) who falls into an unlikely friendship with a schlubby, closeted classmate (newcomer Jeremy Dozier). They split their native Oklahoma to search for the father that Temple has never known, but you know their real destination is Self-Discoveryville. Riotously nasty dialogue snippets alternate with clunky earnestness and cringe-inducing feel-good moments. Milla Jovovich, William H. Macy, Dwight Yoakam, and an amusingly repressed Mary Steenburgen are the folks they leave behind. Extras: Sylvia commentary. (Anchor Bay, $29.98)

HISTORICAL DRAMA

THE TUSKEGEE AIRMEN (1995)

With the George Lucas-produced “Red Tails’’ bringing new attention to the US military’s first squadron of African-American pilots, HBO gives a Blu-ray reissue to its own account of the group’s WWII heroism. Laurence Fishburne heads a cast that includes Cuba Gooding Jr. and Malcolm-Jamal Warner. “The Josephine Baker Story’’ (1991) also gets a hi-def rerelease in advance of Black History Month, with new commentary from Emmy winner Lynn Whitfield. And Fishburne stars as Thurgood Marshall in 2010’s one-man play “Thurgood,’’ making its debut on disc. (HBO, “Tuskegee’’ and “Josephine,’’ $14.98. “Thurgood,’’ $26.98, Blu-ray, $34.98)

SPORTS

GREATEST SUPER BOWL MOMENTS (2012)

This postseason snack platter offers what you would expect: a few minutes each on all 45 championship games to date, including iconic highlights. It’s all here (if briefly, and mostly not widescreen), from Lynn Swann’s acrobatic grab in Super Bowl X to, yes, New York Giant David Tyree’s soul-crushing catch (above) against the 18-0 Patriots. (The one extended recap is of last year’s unmemorable Packers-Steelers matchup.) As usual, the Pats’ near-perfect 2007 season is given ridiculously short shrift - that’s not sour grapes, haters, it’s truth! - but fans also get to relive the victories, complete with play-by-play from Gil Santos and Gino Cappelletti. (Vivendi, $14.93; available now)
