In “Django Unchained,” Jamie Foxx plays Django, a black slave purchased for about a hundred dollars and freed by a German dentist and bounty hunter named Schultz (Christoph Waltz). A straightforward treatment might have involved having the slave run away north. But the movie Quentin Tarantino has written and directed is corkscrewed, inside-out, upside-down, simultaneously clear-eyed and completely out of its mind.
Django is married. He and his wife (Kerry Washington) were savagely lacerated and separately sold. He’s not free until she is. So he works as the bounty hunter’s sidekick, with the bounty hunter agreeing to help him find the wife and rescue her from a Mississippi plantation.

This might be the most disgusting review I've ever read. Smearing a fine American like Clarence Thomas as an Uncle Tom? Shame on you, Mr. Morris.
The shame should be on Clarence Thomas and those of his ilk who have made great strides riding on the back of Black folks that paved the way for them to be in the position they are in today. These house Negroes can now sit back because they are living large and talk down to those who are stuck in bad schools, comunities with very little service and whose lives are affected by policies that are championed by their republican brethren.
By "fine American " , you mean a black man whose name you actually know, right?
So then, according to the liberal mind, anyone of color is either a democrat (far left, of course), or an embarrassment? This is sad and such statements do not belong in a film review.
