Professional hockey is all about thuggery. Institutionalized fighting seems to be its main draw. Why should we feel sympathy for "Knuckles" Nilan? Evidently since his career ended he's been in and out of the gutter, where he belongs. Why this man would evoke any sympathy is beyond me.
