Crooked Still’s Aoife O’Donovan comes into her own

Last year, you couldn’t escape Boston’s Aoife O’Donovan, who has become something of a muse to her contemporaries working in modern Americana. As a guest vocalist, she contributed to records by Noam Pikelny, the acclaimed banjo player who’s part of Punch Brothers, with whom she also toured for a bit. She turned up on “The Goat Rodeo Sessions,” and Alison Krauss recorded one of her songs for her album “Paper Airplanes.” She plays Brighton Music Hall on June 14 behind her first solo album.
