The deal: Producer/DJ Alesso will take the stage at the Ocean Club at Marina Bay on Wednesday, as part of the venue’s weeklong Fourth of July celebration. “Alesso started as a Swedish progressive house DJ who’s now getting worldwide attention for his remixes of these superstar DJs,” says Sam Sokol, co-owner of the Ocean Club. DJ Alesso, who is most famously known for his remix of “Pressure,” says Sokol, will be accompanied by fireworks on the marina during his performance. The week of festivities starts this Friday with DJ Erick Morillo, commonly known as the producer of Reel 2 Real’s “I Like to Move It.” On Sunday, DJ Vice, a former LA radio host who specializes in Vegas mash-ups, will perform, as well as resident DJs Bamboora and Dirty Dek.

Who goes there: “Each of those DJs has a little bit of a different audience, but we try to diversify the bookings so we can attract all sorts of people,” says Sokol. “We try to cover anyone from 21 to 40.”
