Had a great time at the show. What an incredible spectacle! Better than the Stones' Fenway show - and that's saying something.
Honestly -- the show was breath taking. The last time I experienced sensory overload like this at a show was the first time I saw U2's Zoo TV tour back in 1992 (which was at the time a show unlike anything I had ever seen). Well take that experience and add 20 years worth of technology to it. Now the bad part. Fenway. As a season ticket holder for the Sox, I love Fenway -- but for a concert it was horrific. In no particular order: The sound was miserable, the sight lines were worse. My tickets were the second or third tier in price and I had scaffolding obstructing our view of more than 1/2 the stage. Crowd management was also miserable -- getting to our seats was a total traffic jam -- why? the place had far less people than a ball game, yet it was gridlock everywhere. Phenomenal production -- crappy venue.
Phenomenal show-Roger Waters can still bring it and kudos to GE Smith and the band! The guitarist on comfortably Numb was incredible. I was amazed at how many kids were there- what were their parents thinking? this is a heavy concept and not for kids. Disturbing images and adult theme.
