THE BLACK CROWES & THE TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND It should be a hot night of straight-up rock ’n’ roll with some searing solos as the Georgia jam kings team up with Norwell’s own Tedeschi and her band on this simpatico double bill. TTB is touring in support of its superb forthcoming album, “Made Up Mind,” which features scorching vocals from Tedeschi and the fancy fretwork of her husband, Derek Trucks. Aug. 6, 6 p.m. Tickets: $45-$89.20. Bank of America Pavilion. 800-745-3000, www.livenation.com

MAROON 5 & KELLY CLARKSON
It should be a hot night of effervescent pop as the original “American Idol” teams up with “The Voice” judge Levine and his cohorts. Expect a parade of hits from both acts — from “Since U Been Gone” to “Catch My Breath” for Clarkson, and “This Love” to “One More Night” for Maroon 5 — and with any luck, some collaborations. Aug. 9, 7 p.m. Tickets: $47.50-$116.30. Comcast Center. 800-745-3000, www.livenation.com

JAY Z & JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE (above) It should be a hot night of smooth pop soul and hip-hop as the bringer back of sexy teams up with the newly hyphen-less emcee.
