Special section: The Gardner Grows

The Calderwood Performance Hall is a unique concert space seating 296 people, most of whom will enjoy a front-row view. The hall has three balconies surrounding the performance space, each with just one row of seats. Designed by Renzo Piano, the cube-shaped hall is lined with laser-cut wood paneling, and adjustable curtains have been hung behind these panels to improve the acoustics.
