One man’s ‘Mad Men’ mad dash

Four seasons of “Mad Men’’ in three months. That’s what my wife and I had to watch if we wanted to be up to speed by the time Don, Peggy, Betty and Roger returned this spring. So we downloaded Season 1 to my iPad, plugged it in the TV and ignored all other shows (except, of course, “Modern Family,’’ because, well, if you have to ask . . . ). Our only worry was, What if we hate it?
