Saving Hope 9 p.m., Channel 7
Not to be confused with the raucous Fox sitcom “Raising Hope,” this NBC drama centers on that exciting new frontier for television drama: a hospital. If you — like the late, great R&B girl group TLC — don’t want no scrubs, then you might not want to get your, um, hopes up on this one — brought to you by the people behind the similarly formulaic “Rookie Blue.” The series follows a hotshot surgeon, played by Michael Shanks (“Stargate SG-1”), who falls into a coma and then wanders the halls of the Hope-Zion hospital in “spirit” form, visible to the dead, while his equally hotshot surgeon fiancee, Erica Durance (“Smallville”) tries to save him. Meanwhile, other medical cases and stock characters also pass through the halls. Pictured: Durance.
Cajun Justice 10 p.m., A&E
Voodoo rituals, stolen ACs, and drug dealing. Sounds like an episode of “CSI: New Orleans,” but these are the cases that face the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Department in this new reality series about a humid little bayou about 45 miles south of NOLA.
