THE INCREDIBLES ½

(Comcast Movie Collections: Great Movie Fathers) Pixar pitches a change-up — a PG-rated superhero action comedy — with magnificent results. Written and directed by Brad Bird, the film is a funny, deeply felt, remarkably tactile tale of a retired superhero couple (voiced by Craig T. Nelson and Holly Hunter) who get back in the game and drag their kids (Sarah Vowell, Spencer Fox) along. Fluid and inventive, it makes movies like “Shark Tale” look like 2-D doodles. (PG; runs through July 16)

CATCH THAT KID

(Comcast Movie Collections: Heroic Kids) If grown-ups have “The Italian Job,” who says our children can’t have a cheesy heist movie of their own? This slick little package casts glowering Kristen Stewart as a tweener rock climber who engineers a high-tech bank robbery to save her dying father and manipulates her two best friends into helping out. Kids will love it; parents may be appalled. Featuring every heist cliche in the book and Jennifer Beals as the heroine’s mom. (PG; runs through July 2) Ty Burr

CORIOLANUS ½

(Comcast Movie Collections: Same Day as DVD) Making his directorial debut, star Ralph Fiennes brings Shakespeare’s Roman tragedy roaring into a 21st century of military strongmen and civil unrest, asking what society should do with the attack dogs we ask to protect us. Vanessa Redgrave scalds the screen as one mean mother. With Gerard Butler and Jessica Chastain. (R; runs through Aug. 3) Ty Burr
