From Ron Howard and Brian Grazer and the producers of “The Amazing Race” comes this new reality competition that aims to bring the action-adventure movie vibe to real life. Each week three pairs of players are plopped into a location from which they must escape. As in “Race,” there will be obstacles that involve either physical strength or problem-solving skills. The added twist comes in the forms of “guards” and “pursuers” who are trying to block their path to freedom and, of course, a big cash prize, which will be doled out by host Rich Eisen (pictured).
