Portlandia: The Brunch Special  11 p.m., IFC

This return to “Portlandia” is a director’s cut of last season’s finale, which was built around Fred and Carrie’s visit to a very popular brunch restaurant called Fisherman’s Porch. It also includes a mockumentary about the director’s search for marionberry pancakes. This sweet series got a lot of press last season, which may have created impossible expectations. Don’t come looking for a laugh riot — maybe just a laugh quarrel. The show is built on low-key comedy that affectionately teases people who have liberal obsessions.
