Virgin Diaries 10 p.m., TLC

Dear Diary, I’ve been watching “Jersey Shore” and I am confused. What are they talking about when they refer to “creepin’ ” and “getting smushed”? I don’t understand. Meanwhile, I am doing well in my journey of purity in this world of debasement. I am committed to saving myself. Guess what! A show called “Virgin Diaries” wants to share the details of my sexual history with the entire world! So excited! Love, Me. Pictured: Lindsey Isham.

Jimmy Fallon’s Primetime Music Special 10 p.m., Channel 7

I recall Jimmy Fallon’s first weeks on the air, when he was a scared little rabbit. He has come a long way, and he has helped to free the late-night talk genre from embattled self-reference. In addition to his fanboy persona, his musical shorts have distinguished him, in the way Andy Samberg’s digital shorts did on “Saturday Night Live.” Tonight, NBC is airing an hour of Fallon’s songs, no doubt including his duets with Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, and Carly Rae Jepsen — the last a cutesy version of “Call Me Maybe” with toy instruments.
