Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight

About Face: Supermodels Then and Now 9 p.m., HBO

This documentary, from “The Black List” filmmaker Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, looks at the perils of aging in the modeling world. Among the supermodel interviewees: Carmen Dell’Orefice, Jerry Hall, Cheryl Tiegs, Beverly Johnson, Isabella Rossellini, Marisa Berenson, and Paulina Porizkova. Topics include drug use, weight worries, and face lifts. “If you had the ceiling falling down in your living room,” Dell’Orefice says about plastic surgery, “would you not go and have a repair?”

Lizard Lick Towing 10 p.m., truTV

Re: repossession. It has been the subject of a number of TV series, including “Operation Repo” and “Repo Games.” So there must be a bunch of people out there fascinated by the act of seizure. This show, set in Lizard Lick, N.C., features lots of dramatic gun waving and fist fights. The funny thing is that the standoffs all seem so obviously staged — or maybe the “correct” word is “reenacted,” with lots of stuntmen and scripted Southern-fried catchphrases.
