One of the actresses moving from “The Closer” to this spinoff series is a local native. Her name is Kathe Mazur, and she plays DDA Andrea Hobbs. Hobbs is the one who offered Brenda a job last week, and she’s the one who consults on how to dispense with the perp in tonight’s case of a murdered sports trainer. She’s the daughter of poet Gail Mazur and the late artist Michael Mazur. By the way, I’m still on the fence about this show.
