Syfy

2-Headed Shark Attack 9 p.m., Syfy

Why is this horror movie so very, very great? 1.) Much of it is set on an atoll. 2.) It stars Jerry O’Connell’s younger brother, Charlie. 3.) It costars Hulk Hogan’s daughter, Brooke. 4.) Not only is there a 2-headed shark with side-by-side heads, there is a tsunami. 5.) The filmmakers chose not to name the movie “Two, Two, Two Jaws in One.” 6.) Carmen Electra is about.

Puppy Love 9 p.m., Hallmark

This is too Hallmarky to be true. A shaggy dog story, a cute kid story, and a love story all in one. Jake the dog runs away from home, and a pretty single mom and a handsome single guy join forces to find him. Turns out Jake, played by BugZ, belonged to the guy, but he got out of the house and was rescued by the single mom and her sweet daughter at a local shelter. But wait, you who scoff: The movie is part of the Pet Project, an initiative to help save homeless pets through adoption, so it’s schmaltz in the name of good works.
