Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight

The Voice 8 p.m., Channel 7

NBC is stretching out the third-season premiere of its hit singing contest beyond Monday and Tuesday this week. The network has added a third night of blind auditions — Wednesday — so that the show will now be up against the premiere of “The X Factor” and can perhaps siphon off some viewers. Not playing nice, NBC, but A+ for ambition. If you can steer America away from watching new “X” judge Britney Spears, more power to you. “I hope and I pray that it backfires on them,” Simon Cowell said last week. Christina Aguilera (left), Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green (right), and Blake Shelton all return to “The Voice” as celebrity coaches.

Lost 8 p.m.-midnight, G4

It’s always strange to look back through the early seasons of “Lost,” now that we know where it ultimately went (nowhere?). Remember when Shannon was shot? Remember Mr. Eko? Remember when Freckles cut Sawyer’s hair? OMG, remember the hatch? Aww, it was all so innocent then. G4 is still reairing the series in chunks of four on Monday nights.
