Critic’s Corner: What’s on TV this weekend?

Jordin Althaus/Showtime

Weeds Tomorrow at 10 p.m., Showtime

Wait, so what happened last week? Oh yeah, Nancy slept with Andy, and then he pushed her away. Tomorrow night, that plot line, and all the others, will wrap up for good in the series finale. Will Nancy wind up with Andy? Rabbi Dave? It’s been a long journey — eight seasons — from Agrestic to Regrestic, and a crazy one, too, with lots of outrageous twists. The Crimson Petal and the White Tomorrow at 8 p.m., Encore

At first, I wondered why this BBC drama about a prostitute named Sugar in Victorian London didn’t get picked up by PBS. But then, well, the sex scenes. Encore is reairing this two-parter in its entirety tonight and it’s worth watching for fans of the era. Romola Garai, from “Emma” and “The Hour,” is good as Sugar, and so is Chris O’Dowd (pictured with Garai) as the wealthy businessman with an unstable wife. The women in the story, which is based on the novel by Michel Faber, don’t have a good time of it, no matter what class they’re in.
