Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight?

CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock 8 p.m., Channel 5

I probably shouldn’t make another Taylor Swift stalking joke. Plus, anyway, she’s one of the few country folk who won’t be performing during this three-hour concert special. Those who will be performing: Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Alan Jackson (pictured), Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Scotty McCreery, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton, and Keith Urban. Luke Bryan and Kimberly Perry are the hosts.

Bones 8 p.m., Channel 25

They probably won’t kill this show until Bones and Booth are an old married couple with a bucketload of kids. The eighth season begins tonight, three months after Brennan went on the run from the FBI after being framed for murder by the diabolical genius Christopher Pelant. I pray she can clear that charge!
