Homeland Sunday at 10 p.m., Showtime
So Saul knows? I’d say the only way out of the end of last week’s final moments would be to kill off Mandy Patinkin’s character. But that’s not going to happen. How will the writers move forward? And is Carrie headed for a big disappointment, if she thinks she’s back in the CIA? There is a Sunday glut of good shows, including “Dexter,” “Boardwalk Empire,” “The Good Wife,” “Treme,” and “Masterpiece.” But “Homeland” is the only one that I absolutely have to watch live. The Walking Dead Sunday at 9 p.m., AMC
I got bored last season when the gang was holed up at the farm and the story momentum stalled. The efforts to expand the characters didn’t quite work — the writing and the acting weren’t there. But on Sunday the action moves to the prison, as the show picks up for season three. The survivors try to clear all the walkers before they take over the building. And death becomes this show.
