Emily Owens, M.D.  9 p.m., Channel 56

This new dramedy is a lot like “Grey’s Anatomy.” A lot. The cast is younger, but the idea — interns at a Denver hospital, romance, high-school-like behavior — is the same. Emily has a mean-girl enemy, a crush, and a best friend. The best thing about the show: Mamie Gummer (pictured), who is charming as the insecure but brilliant Emily. She adds some body to a very familiar character. It doesn’t hurt that at certain moments she looks an awful lot like Meryl Streep, who happens to be her mother.
