The Colbert Report  11:30 p.m., Comedy Central

These two shows are going live for Election Night, because by 11 p.m., you may be ready to laugh absurdly. Stewart’s show is subtitled, “This Ends Now,” while Colbert’s show has a more comically cumbersome name: “A Nation Votes, Ohio Decides; The Re-Presidenting of America: Who Will Replace Obama? ’012!” By the way, both of these episodes will air on MTV’s Times Square jumbotron in New York and stream live on

Sin Takes a Holiday  9:30 p.m., TCM

Day off. It has to go vote in Vegas.

Alaska: The Last Frontier  9 p.m., Discovery Channel

Misty water-colored memories, of the way we were.

Storage Wars  Marathon 6 p.m.-4 a.m., A&E

Escape the election, unit by unit by unit.
