We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston
10 p.m., Channel 4
If you’ve been grossed out by “The Houstons: On Our Own,” the Lifetime reality show that exploits the death of Whitney Houston and the grief of her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, maybe this will serve as an antidote. It’s a tribute to Houston, with clips from Houston’s career and performances by Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, and Usher, among others. Pictured: Yolanda Adams (left) and CeCe Winans.
Boardwalk Empire Sunday at 9 p.m., HBO
By the end of the most recent episode, which was really well done as it simulated Nucky’s concussion, I found myself rooting for Margaret and Owen. I like those two together. If she is trusting him, and he is pulling a fast one on her, I will be oh-so-sad. And if he dies, well, again, sad. On Sunday, Nucky sends him to intervene on the Rosetti-Masseria alliance in New York. Watch your back, dude.
