On Demand movie highlights

(Comcast Free Movies) Two London brothers — a climber (Ewan McGregor) and a gambler (Colin Farrell) — find themselves desperate for cash. This an improved remix of Allen’s “Match Point.” The filmmaker gets some lovely, delicate acting out of McGregor and Farrell, both of whom seem to have worked out their characters psychologically. With John Benfield, Clare Higgins, and Tom Wilkinson. (PG-13; runs through Jan. 2)

(Starz on Comcast) A superb work of realism by Asghar Farhadi about a youngish middle-class Iranian woman (Leila Hatami) who leaves her husband (Peyman Moaadi), putting his sick father and their studious and astute 11-year-old daughter (Sarina Farhadi) in the uncertain middle. The request for a divorce sets in motion a chain of small domestic events whose dismaying implications accrue. In Farsi, with English subtitles. (PG-13; runs through Jan. 2)

(HBO on Comcast) The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles get a computer-generated upgrade in the name of stopping evil ancient warriors from destroying the world. This is junk-food pastry: The plot is the wrapper, the action is the oily spongy cake. And the message (family, family, family) is the processed cream filling. (PG; runs through Jan. 7)
