Homeland Sunday at 8 p.m., Showtime

The season ended on Sunday, but Showtime is reairing the finale and it’s on demand. And I feel as though I need to rewatch it. Strings were tied up, certainly, and with some cleverness; and yet I never quite believed the bond between Carrie (Claire Danes) and Brody (Damian Lewis). Their undying commitment, now that they’re officially star-crossed lovers, seemed odd, especially given that recently she called him a disgrace to the nation. I liked them better together when they were both playing each other and falling for each othersimultaneously.
