Holiday gifts that stick to the programs

It’s crunch time and you still have someone on your list for whom you just can’t think of a gift. Maybe it’s an aunt that you just discovered is coming to the festivities. Or a friend from the office who surprised you with a small token of appreciation and you want to return the favor. But no matter who it is, if you know what their favorite TV show is, odds are good that somewhere out there is a gift within your budget.

Many of the networks — both broadcast and cable — have Web stores hawking merchandise associated with their series both current and classic. Whether your giftee won’t stop talking about “Homeland,” or is mourning the impending loss of “30 Rock,” or pines for a way to make “Seinfeld” part of their daily existence, this is your opportunity to show that you have been paying attention when they talk. (These and many more items are available in several locations, so shop around to see what else might stock that stuffing just right. Prices may vary and are subject to change.) Sarah Rodman
