Golden Globe Awards Fashion Police  9 p.m., E!

That actress — you know exactly who I’m talking about — looked simply awful last night. Her gown was much too tight, when it wasn’t too poufy. And those colors! Who wears red, yellow, green, white, or peach to an awards show? Also, the shoes were so clunky and pointy. Joan (above) and Melissa Rivers, we feel your outrage.

Deception  10 p.m., Channel 7

From the first few moments of this lackluster new soap mystery, I found that I really didn’t care who killed Vivian Bowers. That’s a bit of a problem when the entire plot is built around that question. I cared about who killed Laura Palmer on “Twin Peaks,” and, at least for a season, I cared about who killed Rosie Larsen on “The Killing.” Maybe this show will get a shot of life in the next few episodes, but so far I am underwhelmed and put off.
