Zero Hour 8 p.m., Channel 5

It’s a little shocking just how very awful last week’s premiere of this new conspiracy adventure series was. Can this show really be what the networks are hoping will save them, in the face of cable and streaming competition? This and, like, “Deception”? Anthony Edwards from “ER” squanders his return to TV on a messy story about a clock, a brotherhood, Nazis, and a kidnapping. Back in the day, no one could intubate like Edwards.
