Celebrity Wife Swap 8 p.m., Channel 5

It’s back, and it wants to catch your eye. That’s why Kate Gosselin, mother of the year, is trading places with Hugh Hefner ex and E! star Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett in the season premiere of this. Sounds like a reality cataclysm. Although Gosselin isn’t anyone’s wife now, is she? I guess I’m being too literal. Also scheduled to appear this season: Flavor Flav, Gary Busey, and, get this, Ted Haggard.

The Mindy Project 9:30 p.m., Channel 25

This show is one big fat Almost. There are so many good things about it, assuming you think Mindy Kaling is funny, which I do. But then the regular supporting cast is extremely uneven at best. On Tuesday, Seth Rogen guest stars on the show as Mindy’s middle school crush and first kiss. He’s in town before he is deployed in Afghanistan. Can’t fault the show for not having enjoyable guest stars, including so far Ed Helms, B.J. Novak, Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, and Allison Williams.

The Lying Game 9 p.m., ABC Family

I know all there is to know.

Dodsworth 8 p.m., TCM

I’m so veddy heppy this great old movie is on.
