Nathan for You 10:30 p.m., Comedy Central
I love fake reality shows, even if they are redundant. In this new series, comedian Nathan Fielder (pictured) plays a glum consultant who helps to make over struggling small businesses. He pushes a caricature artist to draw nasty likenesses and encourages a frozen yogurt store to start serving poo-flavored yogurt. The focus group taste test in that second sketch, by the way, is cringe-alicious.
Jimmy Kimmel Live: After the Oscars 10 p.m., Channel 5
In a smart promotional movie, ABC has been reairing notable episodes of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” in primetime. Thursday night, the network is giving Kimmel’s Oscar special a second round, for those who haven’t caught it online. Among the highlights: “Life of Psy” and “Movie: The Movie: 2V” with Jessica Chastain, Bryan Cranston, John Krasinski, Bradley Cooper, Jason Schwartzman, Bruno Mars, Channing Tatum, and Oprah Winfrey as the president. Also: Matt Damon eating a sandwich. Pictured: Kimmel.
