Critic’s corner: What’s on TV tonight

Edie Falco and Merritt Wever on “Nurse Jackie.”Ken Regan/SHOWTIME/SHOWTIME

Nurse Jackie 9 p.m., Showtime 2

I love the supporting cast of this show, but Merritt Wever as Zoey has to be my favorite. Wever’s timing is perfect, and unique. Her character isn’t like Phoebe on “Friends,” but like Lisa Kudrow, Wever has developed her very own comic rhythm of delivery. This season, the writers are giving Zoey more screen time than ever. After getting confident enough to live with and take care of Jackie, she is ready to fly off on her own, take charge of medical situations, and maybe even have another romance.

Who Gets the Last Laugh 10 p.m., TBS

I was a huge fan of Donald Faison on “Scrubs,” but my loyalty isn’t strong enough to get me here. He is the host of this new prank show, which has comedians pulling practical jokes on “real people.” Boring. An audience watching clips will vote on which comedians did the best job. Among the comedians who have lined up to participate: Andy Dick, Tom Green, Chris Kattan, Bam Margera, and Bill Bellamy. And if you’re wondering what ever happened to Cheri Oteri, she is also on the guest list.

The Daily Show With Jon Stewart 11 p.m., Comedy Central

I’ll have one order of Salman Rushdie.

Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life 11 p.m., MTV

“I want a $cottish man in a kilt.” Nuff $aid?

The Mindy Project 9:30 p.m., Channel 25

Come over, Mindy, but leave your friends at home.
