Critic’s Corner: What’s on TV Saturday

Insane Bathrooms Saturday, 10 p.m., TLC

So you’re proud of the recent remodel of your water closet? Sit back and enjoy the fact that you’re not as, well, insane as the folks featured in this new series who go to great lengths to make their potties into palaces. In addition to the boutique hotel owners who fashioned each rest room as an homage to their favorite films and television shows, the show offers a look at an “art” project in Switzerland — a see-through public rest room — transplanted to a Texas town square. As outhouses go, this one is surprisingly swanky.

A Sister’s Revenge Saturday, 8 p.m., Lifetime

This is a Lifetime movie so we’re not talking about short-sheeting the bed here or putting hair dye in a shampoo bottle. Nope, here we have a “modern day femme fatale” played by Brooke Burns (pictured) arriving to wreak havoc in the life of a successful restaurateur. To be honest, we’re not even sure who the sister is.
