Critic’s Corner: What’s on TV Thursday

Chris haston/NBC

The Office 9 p.m., NBC

The staff anticipates the premiere of the documentary, a plot line that makes me giddy with meta-tude. Also, this hourlong penultimate episode features Clay Aiken, Mark McGrath, and Santigold – which must be because Andy is auditioning for “The Next Great A Cappella Sensation.” By the way, there have been unconfirmed rumors that Steve Carell will be among the returning stars, including Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak, featured in next week’s long awaited – too long awaited – series finale.

Glee 9 p.m., Fox

The episode has them advising Blaine, who is trying to decide whether to propose to on-and-off boyfriend Kurt. They become his mentors, telling him about how the world has changed for LGBT people. So “Glee”!
