Critic’s corner: What’s on TV this weekend

Dana Edelson/NBC

Saturday Night Live Saturday at 11:30 p.m., NBC

Last week’s episode was just OK. Maybe it was too soon to bring back Kristen Wiig as a host? She was entertaining as always, and yet she hasn’t been gone long enough for her characters to be missed. Anyhoo, Saturday’s episode is the season finale, Ben Affleck (left) returns as the host, and Kanye West is back as the musical guest. And, alas, it will be the last episode for Bill Hader (right). He’s leaving the show. No word yet on whether veterans Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis will be following him out the door.

And the inductors and performers include Dave Grohl, Chris Cornell, Don Henley, Jennifer Hudson, Carole King, Harry Belafonte, and Tom Petty.
