Critic’s corner: What’s on TV Wednesday

Toddlers & Tiaras 9 p.m., TLC

Of all the reality shows on all of the channels on all of our TVs and Web outlets in all the countries on all of the Earth in all of the universe, this one has to be in serious contention for the grossest. But it’s back for season 6, so enough viewers like to be grossed out to keep it in business. This episode travels to Shreveport, La., for a Disco Fever pageant for kids and their awful mothers. Grossness in pint-size platform shoes.

Beverly Hills Pawn 9 p.m., Reelz

The story of Scott Thorson, the guy Matt Damon played in “Behind the Candelabra”? Nope. It’s yet another look at the doings at a pawn shop, since it’s not enough to see them in Las Vegas (“Pawn Stars”), Louisiana (“Cajun Pawn Stars”), Chicago (“Hardcore Pawn: Chicago”), Fort Bragg, N.C. (“Combat Pawn”), Detroit (“Hardcore Pawn”). Still waiting on: “Pawn Stars Pawnee.”
