Critic’s Corner: What’s on TV Friday

Heidi Gutman /ABC

Would You Fall For That? 9 p.m., ABC

They just love asking questions at ABC. From the creators of “What Would You Do?” comes this new series that is intended to prod viewers into asking themselves how gullible and accepting they are, how closely they pay attention, and how much they are willing to follow the crowd as opposed to making up their own minds. Hosted by Nick Watt and featuring comics Scott Rogowsky and Sasheer Zamata (above), the series engages in hidden camera, man-on-the-street social experiments to see how far the trio can get people to go or what they can get people to believe in increasingly outlandish situations.

Dancing at Jacob’s Pillow: Never Stand Still  9 p.m., WGBH

Narrated by Bill T. Jones, this edition of the “Great Performances” series features the award-winning documentary about the world-renowned dance mecca in the Berkshires. Many luminaries from the dance world appear including Paul Taylor and Judith Jamison, and their thoughts are woven between performances filmed live at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, rare archival footage, and behind-the-scenes insights.
