On Demand movie highlights

Think Like a Man ½

(Encore on Comcast) As an ensemble comedy, it’s just adequate — platitudes with romantic-comedy in which eight people — including Taraji P. Henson, Meagan Good, Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy — pair off and act out scenarios from that Steve Harvey relationship guide “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.” But Henson makes a case for more movies to take a chance on her charisma. The woman’s a star. (PG-13; runs through Nov. 14)

Warm Bodies

(Comcast Movie Collections: All New Movies) A zombie date flick that has its “Twilight” and makes fun of it too, thanks to a cheeky screenplay and tart direction by Jonathan Levine (“50/50”). Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer play a zombie lad and a living girl who fall for each other after the apocalypse. It’s silly, often funny, and surprisingly sweet. (PG-13; runs through Nov. 30)

Mandela

(Comcast Free Movies) Informative and absorbing documentary about the South African freedom fighter, enriched by a remarkable degree of access to Mandela himself, who perhaps is the only one who can speak of his flaws while others make clear his greatness, inseparable from the greatness of his cause. (Unrated; runs through Oct. 31)
