Dancing With the Stars 8 p.m., ABC
After the first season of this series, I checked out. But I may get pulled back in for this round, because of Valerie Harper. I’ve always loved her and her Rhoda thing. She is doing the dance show despite her dire cancer diagnosis. She’s one of the few people who might make watching fellow contestant Snooki bearable. By the way, “Dancing” will only air one night a week this season. One couple will be eliminated at the end of each episode based on judges’ scores for that night combined with viewers’ votes from the previous week’s performances.
The World Before Her 10 p.m., Channel 2
This installment of PBS’s “POV” looks at life for women in India by studying two very different paths. Filmmaker Nisha Pahuja goes behind the scenes of a monthlong beauty boot camp for the Miss India pageant and she visits a fundamentalist Hindu training camp for girls.
Under the Dome 10 p.m., CBS
Quel dommage — it’s the season finale.
Stalked by a Ghost 10 p.m., Biography
And we ain’t talkin’ Casper.
I’m Alive 10 p.m., DFH
And feeling much Vedder, thank you.
