Critic’s corner: What’s on TV this weekend

48 Hours  Saturday at 10 p.m., CBS

This episode of the newsmagazine may be of special interest locally, since it uses the case of Wayland teenager Lauren Astley as a way into discussing the larger issue of dating and breakup violence. Astley was killed in July 2011 by her ex-boyfriend, who was convicted of first-degree murder in March. Lauren’s parents (pictured) and friends appear in the episode, which is reported by Tracy Smith.
