Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale 10 p.m., NBC

The pop star has had a very good year, what with a successful tour with Maroon 5, a wedding, and the recent news that she is expecting her first child. She caps it with this special, which combines comedy and music into a seasonal “morality tale.” Fellow yuletide storytellers include new stepmother-in-law Reba McEntire and buddy Trisha Yearwood, both of whom contributed vocals to Clarkson’s current holiday album, “Wrapped in Red,” and “Voice” judge Blake Shelton. Clarkson will also be joined by some funny folks including Jay Leno, Whoopi Goldberg, and her “The Crazy Ones” costar Robin Williams.
