Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2013 9:30 p.m., ABC

Walters gets one more “Fascinating” special in before her retirement next year. Among those on the list for 2013 are NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden, “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence, the cast of the hit reality show “Duck Dynasty,” wrecking-ball rider Miley Cyrus, rapper Kanye West and his fiancée, Kim Kardashian, and Walters’s ABC colleague Robin Roberts, who battled a rare blood disorder this year. Given her impending retirement, this year’s edition will also include a look back at memorable moments from the “Fascinating” archives.

A Home for the Holidays With Celine Dion 8 p.m., CBS

This annual special focusing on stories of adoption from foster care is a reliable heartwarmer full of reminders about the ways that families find each other. On tap to perform between the video vignettes on this 15th edition are host Dion, country singer Chris Young, and R&B singer-songwriter Ne-Yo.
