Killer Women 10 p.m., ABC

Don’t expect another quip-heavy awk-umentary-style chuckler with “Killer Women,” co-produced by Sofia Vergara (of “Modern Family”). Do expect “the deadliest women in America” — a.k.a. Texas Rangers — hunting down eight killers in eight weeks. “Battlestar” fans, take note: Tricia Helfer (Number Six) and Michael Trucco star. And fans of actual killer women take note, Lifetime is still doing its thing over there.

Dance Moms 8 p.m. Lifetime

For example, Abby Lee Miller. You’d think after four seasons spent screaming at little girls to make them dance better, she might eventually soften her approach a little. Wrong. The girls only took third at nationals and Abby is out for blood. No one’s position on the team is safe; but your spot on the couch is perfectly fine. Don’t worry. I won’t let her get you.
