
The cast of ABC’s “The View” is having some fun giving a proper send-off to its creator and co-host, Barbara Walters, before she retires on Friday. Today, all past and present cohosts were welcomed back to the daytime talk show:

Earlier in the week, ABC named its news building on West 66th Street in New York “The Barbara Walters Building. A 2nd Avenue Deli sandwich was also named in her honor. Here is a look at some of the celebrity surprises and tributes captured before her on-air retirement:
The Walt Disney Company chairman and CEO Bob Iger unveiled the plaque showing the new building dedication to Walters.
The 2nd Avenue Deli in New York City named a sandwich after Walters.
Bette Midler gave “The View” hosts an impromptu music performance.
Jimmy Kimmel surprised Walters with roses and a story on “The View.”
Friday is Walters’s last day on the daytime talk show with Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, and Jenny McCarthy.
