2014 Young Hollywood Awards 8 p.m., The CW

Because there really just aren’t enough awards shows — seriously, when will the madness end? — Kelly Osbourne hosts this kudocast, now in its 15th year of celebrating “emerging” talent in the entertainment industry. Jumbling up TV and movies and several genres of music, category titles include “Hottest Body (of Work),” “Best Bromance,” and “Bingeworthy TV Show.” Among the performers and presenters are R&B star Trey Songz, hunky actor Kellan Lutz, “Dancing With the Stars” pro Derek Hough, and Gina Rodriguez of the promising upcoming CW dramedy “Jane the Virgin.”

Running Wild With Bear Grylls 8 p.m., NBC

Outdoorsman Grylls has done it alone, and now he’s doing it with his celebrity friends. First up is heartthrob Zac Efron (“High School Musical,” “Neighbors”), who joins Grylls for a journey into the Appalachian Mountains. The show is meant to test the celeb’s survival skills, so we’ll see how well Efron does without hair products.
