Critic’s Corner: What’s on TV Monday

Byron Cohen/FX

Partners 9 p.m., FX

Martin Lawrence (“Martin,” “Bad Boys”) and Kelsey Grammer (“Frasier,” “Boss”) star in this new comedy about mismatched law partners. Like several of its comic predecessors — including “Anger Management” and “Saint George” — the show is one of FX’s new 10/90 experiments, which means that if the first 10 episodes hit a specific ratings benchmark, it will trigger an order for 90 more. “Anger Managment” did. “Saint George” did not. The series will air back-to-back episodes for the first five weeks.

The Awesomes streaming at 3 p.m., Hulu

The lovable Prock (voiced by series creator Seth Meyers) and his well-intentioned yet often hapless band of crime-fighting, second-string superheroes return to the streaming service for a second season of laughs and justice. Those stepping up to the microphone in the vocal booth this season include Rashida Jones, Ike Barinholtz, and a raft of Meyers’s former “Saturday Night Live” pals like Will Forte, Kenan Thompson, Amy Poehler, and Maya Rudolph.
