Critic’s corner: What’s on TV Tuesday night

Wizard Wars 10 p.m., Syfy

Penn & Teller are all over the dial these days. Just a few weeks after the popular prestidigitators popped up with “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” over on The CW, the duo is also headlining this competition series. The pair, who also serve as judges, take viewers behind the curtain at a magic show. Each week a new team of magicians attempts to perform spectacular illusions using random, everyday objects — including Spam and Super Soakers. They battle a “home team” of experts, including two-time World Championship of Magic winner Gregory Wilson and mentalist Angela Funovits. K. Michelle: The Rebellious Soul Musical 10 p.m., VH1

The “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star takes center stage in this half-hour “hip-hopera” dedicated to tunes from her debut album, which will be linked to tell a story. Michelle clearly is doing something right because that story is being directed by British actor Idris
Elba (“Luther,” “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom”).

Candid Camera 8 p.m., TV Land

Blossom helps freestyle rappers bust a rhyme.

4th and Loud 9 p.m., AMC

Rock ’n’ roll all night, and manage an arena football team by day.

Drunk History 10 p.m., Comedy Central

It’s tipsy treason as the boozers recount the tale of Benedict Arnold.
